r/pinball - Pinball specific discussion. Notes: If your games run without the music, try updating the genesisplusgx core to the latest version from the repo by going to Retroarch>core. r/arcade - Original CoinOP Arcade specific discussion. r/RetroGamingNetwork - a multireddit for retro gaming! r/HyperSpin - HyperSpin specific discussion. In Retroarch Bios file are placed into the system folder no the rom folder like mame. dont use Arcade (FB Alpha 2012 Neo Geo) If this isnt working, try obtaining a new set of games. Run this core: Arcade (FinalBurn Neo) fbneolibretro.dll. You dont need a copy of that bios in your games folder like some have suggested. ![]() Bios should be placed in the System folder not the Rom folder. The neogeo.zip file goes into: Retroarch > system. also, read fbneo libretro documentation and make sure your neogeo bios is in the correct location. get a standalone fbneo and make sure your rom and neogeo bios work there, then just copy them over for retroarch. neo geo bios is 'passive' every time you load a neo geo game. mslug doesn't change much over versions afaik, but neogeo bios does. for the neo geo bios should be in the roms folder where other neo geo roms in that folder. R/MAME RULES/REGULATIONS REDDIT'S ARCADE COMMUNITY im using mame0222 as my main arcade core. Over time, MAME (originally stood for Multiple Arcade Machine Emulator) absorbed the sister-project MESS (Multi Emulator Super System), so MAME now documents a wide variety of (mostly vintage) computers, video game consoles and calculators, in addition to the arcade video games that were its initial focus. The fact that the software is usable serves primarily to validate the accuracy of the documentation (how else can you prove that you have recreated the hardware faithfully?). The source code to MAME serves as this documentation. This is achieved by documenting the hardware and how it functions. ![]() As electronic technology continues to rush forward, MAME prevents this important "vintage" software from being lost and forgotten. MAME’s purpose is to preserve decades of software history. MAME is a multi-purpose emulation framework. Just for the record, when I found this roms, there were part of a full pack with RetroArch for Vita. This zipped roms have a lot of files inside. The other systems are named: FB Alpha - Arcade Games. ![]() For example, GBA is named 'Nintendo - Game Boy Advanced'. Questions? Please check out OUR MAME/BYOAC Wiki! Roms folders have the name of the systems.
